Hey guys, welcome to Mia’s Cam! This whole journey started my junior year of high school when I started taking pictures for my school’s yearbook. I did sports, portraits, events, etc. I am also completely self taught! (with a little help from my wonderful photographer parents).I’ve also always had a love for sports, but unfortunately I was never good at them… So that’s how sports photography became a huge factor in my life!

I get to be immersed in sports, watch games, and be up close in the action while also taking pictures. I am on year three of Mia’s Cam, and I can’t wait for many more years to come. I constantly strive to improve my technique and my business as a whole, which I have learned is a never-ending journey. A journey I am so grateful to venture through.

Why is photography so important to me in general? Well, life moves incredibly too fast that we often forget about the small moments in day-to-day life. Being able to freeze moments into a tangible picture is one of the greatest gifts ever. We get to look back on memories, see who we were, who we are, and who we can become. Never take the little things in life for granted.
